Releases Request for Proposal for Fiscal Year 2015
(Helena, MT) – The Montana Board of Research and Commercialization Technology announced the release of the Fiscal Year 2015 Request for Proposals (RFP) for research and commercialization projects. The board has approximately $650,000 in grant funds available for fiscal year 2015 (7/1/2014 – 6/30/2015).
The Montana Board of Research and Commercialization Technology encourages economic development through investment in research and commercialization projects. The emphasis of the program is on projects that lead to marketable products or processes.
“Research and commercialization projects have the potential to significantly improve Montana’s opportunities for economic growth both domestically and abroad,” said Montana Department of Commerce Director Meg O’Leary. “It’s important that we continue to support projects with a high potential for commercialization across all business sectors.”
Eligible applicants are Montana-based research and commercialization centers, which include the campuses of the University of Montana or Montana State University, tribal colleges, colleges of technology, community colleges, agricultural research centers, or private laboratories or research centers.
The RFP is available online at http://businessresources.mt.gov/content/MBRCT/FY2015Guidelines.pdf. The submission deadline is March 3, 2014 and funding decisions are anticipated for July 2014.
